The problem: Light reflections disturb the sound. Even very refined high-end systems are powerless against the stray light in CD's. Laser beams are reflected many times and bounce around between the surfaces of the CD. They audibly influence the reproduction. The sound loses its clarity and transparency. There is no cure for this diffuse radiation, error correction is just not enough.

The solution: Engineers Dr. Erich Schrott and Wolfgang Schneider have performed extensive tests to try to find ways to eliminate these disturbing reflections. They found a simple and particularly effective tuning method. The outside of the CD was planed down and works as a stray light trap. In addition a black coating will absorb the reflected stray laser light. The side angle of 36° will give the best results.

Have you so far put all things in perfect order? The equipment has been placed is such a way that the sound can flow freely, the electric contacts have been treated, CDs or DVDs have been cleansed by means of Audiotop Digital?
